11'h x 37'w (463sf) mural on the corner of Wellesley Blvd and (Market St northbound)The pastor requested an image that would speak about the hope of salvation for all that he serves... including the homeless, prostitutes, incarcerated, addicted, gang members, and all drug addictions. I received a great deal of community help and volunteer help from the members of this center during the weekend long adventure. Unfortunately, this building was torn down, all that is left is an empty lot now.
I was surprised by the extreme responses to the mural by different area groups. You can check out an article below written by "The Inlander's", Pia K. Hansen, who wrote about the mural right after it was painted. I have not met her yet.
